This special meeting will feature Nina Ozlu, the Executive Director of Americans for the Arts Action Fund, who will provide advocacy tips and an update on arts funding at the federal level. We will also be honoring Congresswoman Chellie Pingree who was recently named the Co-Chair of the House Congressional Arts Caucus.

Arts + Culture Day is April 22, 2019! Help us celebrate Maine's Cultural Sector by increasing visibility and awareness of the arts and engaging with political leaders and policy makers throughout the state.
Spread the word and join in on the day's festivities by booking a display table. ArtsEngageME's Cultural Sector Network Members are given first priority for display tables.

The Maine Arts Awards is an annual recognition of individuals and organizations that have contributed to arts within the state. It is not a cash grant. The award takes the form of a celebratory event in which awardees are presented with a specially-commissioned piece of work by a Maine artist. A person or organization can be nominated in the following areas: Business (large), Business (small), Arts-Education, Community, Artist, Rural Organization, and Philanthropist.
